Abby E. Goldstein, CFP^®

Born and raised in Texas, Abby attended Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. She began her finance career with Merrill Lynch in 2007 and relocated to California in 2009. That same year she became a Partner in Townsgate Wealth Management.

In addition, she holds her securities registrations, life and long-term care insurance licenses.

In 2017 Abby obtained her Series 24 registration by passing the General Securities Principal Qualification Examination. As a result, Abby obtained the additional title of Assistant Managing Principal and has some delegation of office supervisory duties. Abby is a member of the practice's investment committee with the responsibility of research, due diligence and investment recommendations.

Starting her career during the financial debacle of 2008, she is a staunch believer that investors are best served by engaging investment professionals to design, manage and evaluate their investment portfolios. In addition, monitoring of advisory client portfolios is key. Her focus is portfolio analysis, construction, retirement and estate planning strategies. Specifically, she helps clients with their finances when strategic planning is necessary. Examples include planning or dealing with a death in the family, employment change, divorce or marriage and income in retirement.

Abby volunteers regularly at charitable organizations throughout her community, including Westlake Village Juniors Women's Group, American Cancer Society - Relay for Life, and Big Brother/Big Sister of Los Angeles. She enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.
